Superb oil, in excellent condition by the well-known British artist William Howard. The painting is signed at  bottom right.

Not a great deal is known about William Howard although he was a prolific artist and is very well represented in Galleries and at auction. He was known for his Thames Views.

The painting has been relined but is in excellent condition with a good quality frame and is ready to hang.
