Size 50.8 x 63.5cm (20 x 25in) 

Nice quality and scarce oil on canvas painting of the British sailing ship “Marian” off Hong Kong. This has probably been painted by a local Chinese artist at the time, this was a common practice of Victorian ships Captains to have depictions of their ships produced by local artists. 

Condition is good aside from some obvious craquelure and old varnish stains.
