"Stomr Cloud" Mid Century Landscape Oil Painting by Jessica Bohannan Framed

A stunning Mid Century oil on board by the artist Jessica Bohannan. The painting is housed in a pristine mod Brit frame and depicts a traditional landscape. The painting is signed by the artist and dated 1975, lower left.

This is a really interesting painting with beautiful golden-tawny colours and a shock of blue in the water. The undulating dark clouds give it its title, "Storm Clouds", which is seen on the back of the painting. The style is typical mid-century post-impressionism with a thick pastiche and lots of texture.
