Size – 43 x 59cm
Painter, notable for her rural scenes featuring horses, she was the daughter of an illustrator of children’s books. Was herself a horsewoman with a special interest in heavy horses. She studied under Leonard Fuller at St Ives School of Painting, 1960–3, and later had tuition from Walter Woodington. Was a member of SWA and Society of Equestrian Artists. She showed with St Ives Society of Artists, John Magee in Belfast and in 1991 was included in The Horse at Work at John Davies, Stow-on-the-Wold. Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth, holds her work. Lived in Lymington, Hampshire.
