Rima Farah was born in Amman, Jordan, identifies as Syrian, holds a British passport, and currently lives and works in Tangier, Morocco. She moved to the UK to study art at the Eastbourne and Cambridge Schools of Art. Farah spent 17 years travelling and collaborating with British artist Kevin Jackson, producing commercially successful neo-orientalist art for the Arab market. For the past six years, she has worked independently, developing a distinctive body of prints and paintings inspired by Arabic calligraphy and her personal Sufi practice. Her work is regularly exhibited across the Middle East and North Africa and is included in major public and private collections, such as the British Museum, the National Museum of Jordan, DIFC Dubai, and royal collections in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE.
