Paul Manousso was born in Athens and had a successful career as an architect in London before transitioning to full-time art in the 1970s.  He studied architecture at the Architectural Association in London and painting at the British School in Rome. His work is known for its fluid, architectural style and often captures scenes from his extensive travels to places like Greece, Tunisia, Morocco, and India. Following his death in 2022, exhibitions of his estate have featured many of his travel-inspired landscapes.
