Mid Century Oil on Canvas "Fortnight"

Stunning Mid Century oil on canvas of a Thames sailing barge "Fortnight”.

The boat was built in 1929 and  she was still sailing  in 1996 according to the hand written message on the back.

The painting is signed lower right with an indistinguishable signature. Excellent condition  and a really joyful  piece of work.
