Louis Neville (1852-1919)

An original watercolour by Louis Neville, depicting a beautiful view of Tahiti. Signed and dated 1912 to the lower right and titled to the lower left corner.

Presented in a gilt frame, glazed. 

Louis was a draughtsman, engineer and an English artist. Exhibited with John Gully, Hodgkins, J. Gully, J. C. Hoyte, R. Beauchamp, J. D. Barraud, F. F. C. Huddleston. Louis moved to New Zealand 1876 and exhibited with OAS 1876–80.
