Superb oil, in excellent condition by the well-known Dutch/British artist Leendert De Kiningh 1810 - 1887. The painting is signed at bottom right and retains the original artists label on the reverse. It is presented in a very good period Gilt frame and is ready to hang.

 Leonard de Koningh (1810-1887) was born in London and was the son of the Dutch landscape painter Leendert de Koningh (1777-1849).

He worked as a drawing teacher from 1825 to 1887 in Dordrecht. He was also a lithographer and photographer.
