Kinga Rypinska "Three Pumpkins in the Kitchens"

Kinga Rypinska is a Polish artist who relocated to Australia in the 1990's. She studied Fine Art in the west of Poland at the University of Pozman in the early eighties. She has had numerous successful solo exhibitions. She has also been featured in group shows of pozman artists in Amsterdam. She won the Prince's Trust scholarship which enabled her to travel to London where she continued her successes with an exhibition in the Foyer of the National Theatre. 

Kinga has numerous works in private collections in Poland, USA, France, Italy, England, Japan, Holland and Australia. Kinga painys on glass in the style derived from the traditional Polish artists of the tatra Mountains. The luminosity created in her paintings is achieved by painting on the back of the glass with a variety of mediums including foil. Using a vibrant colour palette her work is often whimsical and magical always delightful romantic and rich. 

Here is an original mix media painting on glass by the Polish artist Kinga Rypinska. The painting depicts a whimsical view into a kitchen with Aga style stove centre with various kitchen cupboards, plates and utensils. A quircky gold key to the middle right sits on the window fame. Signed by the artist to the verso  presented in in wooden window frame with glass which also incorporates the painting. A highly decorative piece, with the artist being well held in many high-end galleries.
