This is a beautiful oil on canvas by the well listed artist Jocelyne Seguin, it dates from the mid 60s, is signed at bottom right and is in superb condition. The painting is housed in a period frame.

French painter and lithographer Jocelyne Seguin was born in 1917 and her style was influenced by Pierre Bonnard in the Côte d’Azur. Jocelyne Seguin painted with same Mediterranean light of subtle colours, composition, and harmony reminiscent of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Mary Cassatt, Berthe Morisot, and Marie Laurencin.
