A really interesting oil on canvas portrait of a typical Italian man of the the late 19th century sporting a hat and pipe. We love the twinkle in his eye. This painting was done by a prolific hand but the artist is unknown to us. It is signed lower left. 

Mounted and housed in a modern frame.
