Italian Empire Period (early 19th Century) Carved Wood Casetta Frame Mirrors

A pair of one of a kind antique Italian Empire Period (early 19th Century) carved wood Casetta frames. These are of a very high quality hand painted rectangular solid wood frames with aged modern mirror plates. A repeated patterns decorates these wonderful art objects in a warm palette of Sienna red, brown, green and gold which alternate across an Ivory background. The raised mouldings are black which works as a stunning contrast with the ornate design current with the period.
