Who doesn’t love a mid-century view of Venice? 

We love the golden sail in the foreground against the azure sky and Grand Ganal, which has a view of the famous St Marks Square. 

Oil on canvas, with a painterly textural surface, has not been relined and was most likely painted in the 1930s. It is signed in pencil to the verso by an indistinct signature. 

This super lovely small painting is in excellent condition, housed in its original frame and ready to hang, making it a perfect addition to any art collection.
