Painter, born in Headingly Yorkshire, who studied at Slade School of Fine Art and in Paris. He travelled widely in North Africa, the Middle East and India and lived in various parts of England. Was a prolific exhibitor, showing Fine Art Society, RSA, ROI, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, NEAC and elsewhere. For a time, Dean was a member of RBA
