Giorgio Di Venere was born in Mestre (Venice) in 1927. He completed his studies at the Venice Art Institute and taught chalcography and xylography there from 1968 to 1983. For many years he has worked as a painter and engraver, initially participating , at the exhibitions of the Opera Bevilacqua La Masa (1957) and then at various group shows and national reviews. Through the Associazione Incisori Veneti he has been present at countless exhibitions in Italy and abroad. He has also set up several personal exhibitions of painting and graphics.
