Camping scene 1940's Possibly Canada Mid Century Oil on Board

A colourful impressionistic lake scene, possibly 1940's. The painting is on board with labels to verso depicting it's age. The painting is signed in pencil to verso but we cannot decipher the signature. It is housed in a contemporary frame. 

There are a few paint scratches to the top right. Please see the images.
