This is an interesting mid 20th century Oil on Canvas still life of Asters by Lanta Spurrier who was born in 1905. Not much is known about the artist, but we know Lanta Spurrier lived in Surrey for most of her life. She exhibited twice at Guildford House Gallery. The painting is signed at bottom right.

Both the painting and the frame are in very good condition.
