This is a very good quality oil on canvas in its original wooden frame. We think the painting was done in the early 2000's. It is a copy of the famous portrait titled "Peasant with a Bridle" (also known as "Portrait of Mina Moiseyev"), painted in 1883 by the Russian realist artist Ivan Kramskoy.
