Herbert Léon Marcel Theurillat was a Swiss painter, engraver and designer, born March 12, 1896, in Saint-Imier and died in Collonge-Bellerive, December 15, 1987. Having moved to Geneva in 1919, he became professor of composition at the city's Fine Arts in 1941. From 1951 to 1956, he was a member of the Federal Fine Arts Commission. In 1968, the city of Geneva organized and sponsored its "30 Years of Painting Retrospective" at the Rath Museum. £500
