A pair of original 'Grand Joker' armchairs by Olivier Mourgue for Airborne, the '60s.

The leather upholstery is a small bit of restoration but have aged quite well.

 

Olivier Mourgue (born 1939) is a French industrial designer best known as the designer of the futuristic Djinn chairs used in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. 

“AIRBORNE France“ was founded by Charles Bernard in 1951. Its workshop manufactured two hundred iconic models.
