MARCEL ABOUGIT Born in 1886 in Le Puy-en-Velay. A painter documented between 1925 and 1955, he had his studio at 189 rue Ordener, in the Cité des Artistes in Montmartre. He painted views of Paris, seascapes, and landscapes, especially of the French Riviera (Cagnes-sur-Mer, Èze, Juan-les-Pins, Nice, Saint-Tropez, etc.). He exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in 1935.
