Georg (George) Majewicz (born 1897 in Polkowice , died 1965 in Münchberg ) – German painter.

Born in Lower Silesia , then part of the Kingdom of Prussia , he learned the basics of painting in Wroclaw in the studio of Paul Selle . From 1923, he studied painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, where his teachers included Felix Ehrlich and Karl Haffner.

He primarily painted landscapes, but was also a renowned animalist. His paintings often depicted animals in their natural habitats, including forest animals such as roe deer, elk, wild boars, and birds. In the 1930s, he lived in Pomerania , for a time living in Szczecin , where he had his own studio.

He traveled extensively to the Carpathians , the Beskids , the Alps , and East Prussia , and was also an avid hunter. After 1945, he settled in Berlin , and animalistic themes dominated his work.
