This exceptional dog lithograph is from "The Dogs of British Islands" by J H Walsh - (Stonehenge). The work was published in London in 1886. This book was an extensive work about general management of many breeds of dogs including their management of health in regard to diseases and the use of drugs. Also discussed is judging at dog shows and field trials exhibiting, buying and selling, and canine medicine and surgery.

The beautifully executed dog prints from this volume are highly sought-after collectibles and difficult to source.
