This map is post California as an island and with "cum privligeo" which makes it after 1715 and before 1724. This edition shows California as a peninsula and a vast north west left unexplored.

A large, richly engraved,  coloured title cartouche at lower left of map.

In the blank area of the northwest terra incognita is a smaller,  coloured cartouche surrounding Latin text. A couple of minor spots. Map has what appears to be original colour.

A  good example on laid paper with a few nibbles around the margins (see images)
