Anne Valerie Tempest (born 22 August 1959), known as Annie Tempest, is a British artist, sculptor and cartoonist initially known for her cartoon strip The Yuppies which ran for seven years in the Daily Mail, and now for her strip Tottering-by-Gently which has appeared in Country Life magazine since 1993.

A charming Christmas themed signed watercolour from the listed artist Annie Tempest.

A highly decorative and original watercolour painting by the well listed artist, Annie Tempest, signed to the lower right corner.

The painting depicts Santa and Rudolf struggling to get a harpsichord/ Piano down the chimney of the home of Mozart. The large instrument has a large red ribbon around it and a gift tag addressed to "Wolfie Mozart". The quote "No, we can't give him anything smaller unless you want the future of western music based on a harmonica...." across the bottom.

Also written by the artist on the back reads, for June and Keith Boardell with best wishes Annie Tempest. In a modern wooden frame, glazed. A very nice example of this sought after artist's humourous work.
